Regarding the barrel I posted earlier, mine has a peripheral crack about 40mm down the barrel, this has appeared since I had a rebore about 12,000 miles ago.I've checked it out with a dye-penetrant kit andf it is definitely showing up as a crack. Any ideas how this would happen.
