hi have just striped top half of 1952 500 18S
piston has markings BHB b53 can any one id this

BHB was the original maker of AMC pistons. There should be a 6 digit part no. stamped in also, which will identify it. Cheers, Don.

Spares List 1952: 011930 is the 500 cc high compression piston (8.5:1 without compression plate).

I wouldn't mind one of them to go with my SH cams i haven't fitted yet. Anyone making them? I've got to keep up with the Velo boys!!

Ahhh. I looked for that in the spares lists but missed it. The list only states "high compression". Cheers, Don.
