After getting my dating certificate with my bikes build info. I found that my bike was originally fitted with an Amal TT carb
Now I've just managed to find one of these, a 10TT9. Its been around a bit & came fitted with jets for alcohol, not quite what I have in mind.
I'd like to fit it but I'm confused about jet sizes. My bike is a 1953 long stroke with the standard HL cams. I can only find jetting for the short stoke motor from 1955 -> (Bacon)which lists a 340 main. This seems a long way from standard 180 I have my monoblock.
I know I will have to tune the carb to my bike but I'd like to get the jet close to start with rather than buy a whole box full & then only use 1.
Has anyone got TT carb settings you could share please?
Thanks
Colin.

TT carb on 18cs
Main 350 or 360, needle pos4, pilot .109, Throttle cutaway 6. This would be close with a 1 5/32" TT
