Dear members,
since a few days I´m a (proud owner of a Matchless G12 (w. CSR engine).
But to get this old lady registered here in Germany, I need some more technical data for this machine/engine
which I couldn´t find in the manuals/handbooks/articles/adverts. Important data that would be:
- maximum speed
- engine power (at what/how many revs?)
- gross vehicle weight
- driving & standing noise
Without this, there´s no Tüv (german mot) - and without Tüv, there´s no german vehicle Inspection sticker
...and so no registration here in Germany
Just in case that one of you guys have this data or (official?) documents about it,
it would be very nice if he could send it to me.
After days of searching...I´m starting to get despaired. I´d appreciated it very much if someone could help me.
Regards,
Ruben.
Please don´t mind the 'crossposting' - I answerd for the missing data already in the german Matchless forum
- unfortunately with few positive results...

Thanks very much, Cerberus!
This data matches an article from 1959 - that I found in another book this evening.
So, my Tüv-inspector will measure the noise himself...and the only thing that´s missing so far is the gross vehicle weight.
Only one more step to take: gross vehicle weight...
Thanks,
Ruben.

You lucky guys...!
I won´t tell you the story about getting a Vespa VBB (without the original, italian documents) registered here in Germany...It´s crazy - because due to actual EU laws, this is not legally possible! (...funny, isn´t it?)
