Information relating to the Matchless G3 or AJS Model 16 350cc Heavyweight

I have a 1963 ajs model 16 but could any one tell me somthing about the model as i can't find another one in your pictures.I tried to insure it with bennets but they said they could not find the model.

If you click on Club/The Bikes and have a mooch around there that might give you some clues.

actros I had a look at the Club/Bikes section for you that I have never seen before either and it seems to be the equivalent of a Matchless G3 so a 350cc single cylinder then.Edited by - Eric on 22 Apr 2010 5:15:57 PM

If you search the pictures for 1961 16Ms you will find one very similar to yours.

If you insist on using an incompetant insurer try asking for it as an AJS Sceptre or was it Statesman?
thats one of the daft ideas they came up with at the end.
Still better to go to Peter James.

I think it was a Sceptic (and still a tank, not lightweight).
