Twin carbs on G9

I was just wondering if anyone has any rough base settings jet wise for 1 1/8th" 389's on a 500 twin?

Check any 500 twin manufacturers specs, should be a base point to start.

On the basis that I know not of what I talk about, but I will not let that stop me, I think a pair of 1 1/8” 389’s sound quite large for a 500 twin, are you porting it to suit?

Per Duncan's point, have to say I thought the same, and wondered what you're doing for manifolding David? I do have a twin carb set-up on one 500-based motor, but I'm running 626 concentrics (or an inch in christian units roughly) and they mate up to separate one inch inlet stubs. They run on 180 main jets as far as I can recall.

Haven't heard the Surrey rumour - shame if true as they did me proud with pre-Monobloc parts a while ago.
