Worn fork slider

Having dismantled the front fork of my G80S -55 due to weak damping. Found: excessive wear of left fork slider at the bottom; the clearance between bush and slider is estimately .05" (difficult to measure). The bush is ok, and the right fork slider as well. Is the gap allowable? Is there some way to repair the slider? Or is the only way to order it from amcclassicspares and hope it's good enough?
