Hi,
I have a 1949 Matchless single (G3L) without a tail lamp assembly and can't seem to find a picture of the rear end of one....did it originally have a round Lucas type of tail lamp? I'll need to get a new one, just need to know what kind. Did the 1949 have knee pads on the tank? Also any advice regarding leaving it at 6V or going ahead to 12V would be appreciated.
Thanks
