I have a bag of five 18S valves all the same size. Two have "inlvl" which kinda gives the game away, one has no markings at all while the other two have "1109/1SC" on one and "1109/1G2" on the other. Query is which are exhaust valves out of the latter three?

Inlet or exhaust ?
exhaust valves are non magnetic, just check with any old magnet.
Its why I always carry a small one to auto jumbles.
inlets are always more plentiful.

Inlet or exhaust ?
Thats sorted that one then! I have ended up with two exhaust valves snd three inlet. Of the two with the 1109 numbers one is an exhaust and one is an inlet.
The key point is that I now know how to sort the problem out but naturally I probably won't meet this again. s'ow life is ennit?
Thanks very much for your help
