Alan Jacobs Funeral

Further to Lawrence's message of Friday advising of Alan's passing away, I can now advise the Funeral arrangements as follows for anyone who may wish to attend.
The Funeral will take place on Thursday 16th April at Falcon Wood Crematorium just off the A2 near Eltham, South London. The service at the Crematorium will commmence at 10.00am.
For anyone who wishes to join the Kent Section in escorting the Funeral procession, we will be meeting at Alan's bungalow but have been asked to be able to leave at 9.00am

Alan's wife, Jean has requested donations only to Cancer Research.
It would be helpful if anyone who is planning to attend and who is outside of the Kent Section if they could drop me a line so that we know who/how many to expect on the day. Thanks you

Thanks for the advice. I will of course not be able to attend the funeral or the procession. Instead I have taken your advice and made a donation towards the Imperial Cancer Research Fund at:

I spoke to Alan's daughter tonight and she said that the family would love to see a big turn out of bikers (sorry, Alan would say 'motorcyclists').
