Apropos the "duff" NGK debate,in the course of my recent purchase of a '58 Mod 16 (coil, etc) the owner couldn't get it to go,sometimes it started then died but would never "rev" ,felt like fuel or carburation issues.Anyway to cut a long boring story short,we took out the very shiny NGK and stuck in an old Lodge out of a tin of junk,1st kick off we go and revved out nicely, job done!
Hard work never killed anyone.....but why take the risk?

Can any of you plug boffins explain once and for all the difference between N5 & N5C. I am convinced the N5 variety are more suited to mag ignition bikes but it maybe superstition born out of repeated coincidences??
