A ewe,two lambs, a tractor, year 1937

Hi,

In my newspaper this month there is a picture of a farmer, entitled

''Cold comfort on the farm: a South Wales farmer holds two lambs up to a ewe in 1937''

The ewe is standing on the bonnet , facing the farmer ,

who is sitting on his tractor seat, and holding two lambs, on the steering wheel, up to

the mothers face. Snow lays all around.

Is this how you rescued sheep from the snow in Wales. Are Welsh sheep good with tractor engines?
