With only 10 days to the 2007 Jampot Rally , anyone who has not recently looked at the East Suffolk section on the forum or www.eastsuffolkjampot.co.uk will find updated details for the rally.
Albert Usher (section chairman)would particularly like those who may prefer not to ride the road runs to refer to the off road and "proper trial" details.

Can anyone tell me about the no open fires rule, please? Does it extend to barbecues and, more importantly, camping stoves? I don't want to be taking a load of cauldrons and stuff if we're not permitted to use them.

Also, now I've got your attention, if you haven't seen this request I'd be grateful if you'd take a look and tell me if you know the answer. Then if you do I might be able to persuade you to impart your knowledge to me by way of a token bribe.

Is this not something we should all be privy to?

I didn't, which is why I repeated it up here in case something had gone astray, like my pm asking the question. Clearly something's got lost in the ether.

Biscuit, I'll tell you all about it when you're older.

If I get much older, I won't need to know.

Maurice replied on the 19th via this website.
I have emailed him for clarification.
As you can appreciate from last year ,by now everything "rallywise" is a blur. The phrase "never again" springs to mind . However, an Alternative keeps being mentioned - perhaps in a few years!

Janet , this is the section reply.
Proper barbecues (that is a proper unit raised from ground level properly supervised, either charcoal or gas, will be permitted. When charcoal has properly cooled down it can be disposed of in the site skip.

See you on the 3rd August.

What about any charcoal that has been improper whilst cooling down?
