The weight of opinion was too much to ignore, and the Viton seals have been purchased and fitted, I fitted the flat washer in the head followed by the 4 seals and pushed the pushrod in with the bevelled washers in place using a screwing action I took the shine off of the stainless tube where the seals sit with a strip of emery cloth.
The barrel was removed again due to not being happy with the base gasket, to get the correct fit I had to select the "Competition use only" gasket?? Best regards, Ian.
