I am rebuilding the engine on my 58 G11CS. Got to refitting the original wire wound pistons with new piston rings. Thought i really ought to fit new gudgeon pin circlips so ordered some from the club. So what has arrived appear slightly larger at rest than the original ones and have a smaller eye so my circlip pliers don't fit. So i am wondering did i order ones for a single (bigger pin)? Are they specifically for the club supplied pistons? They do seem to be the same thickness and of square section. Just checked the order. 014283 CIRCLIP,TWIN GUDGEON PIN ------- ALSO FITS LIGHTWEIGHTS. Picture looks like my ciclips but supplied item a little different.
Anyone recent experience of these circlips?

Re: Gudgeon pin circlips
Some replacement circlip have smaller holes in the ears that the original ones , I always have to search out smaller diameter circlip pliers
I will check the circlips we have in stock to make sure there is not an issue
