Reinstating Valve Lifter for AJS Model 8

Progress! I have a replacement rocker box (thanks to LynP) and have it installed. The club spares people have provided a valve lifter lever. Dave at JJ Cables has produced a suitable cable whilst Steve at AMC Classic Spares supplied a control lever, return spring and fixing screw. All of these are now installed and appear to work (they turn the valve lifter lever) but I still need to adjust the cable. This will happen as part of the rest of my reassembly work following the decoke that I have just completed. A proper test will have to wait until I've investigated the gearbox oil leak that has cropped up in the meantime:roll:

I fired up the Model 8 today. The new rocker box and valve lifter worked very nicely. Thanks again LynP!
