Tapatalk .. whatever that is ..

For some time , whenever I look into forum I get an advert to install Tapatalk ..

Is this normal, or have I got a nasty somewhere?

Tapatalk is a mobile phone/tablet app that we used to allow an easy interface between a mobile device and the Forum system. It worked fine for a couple of years, but has been giving warning messages over the last year or so. I have read of other Forum systems removing Tapatalk due to changes in the way it is working.

For our system, I suspect that members using their mobile phones to access the Forum get a better interface using the (now) standard phone features.

Perhaps anyone using Tapatalk can add their opinions....

I normally access the forum on my Android phone and have no problems ..

I'll just ignore the Tapatalk ads (as I do with all the other adverts to which we are subjected.. )

Tapatalk was a great app at one point but like a lot of apps it lost sight of what it was meant to do. It wanted to be the next social media hub rather than just a place to find all your forums in a easy app. I would suggest nuke it from orbit...its the only way to be sure.
