Slider extensions 028046

Hi all,
Could someone please measure length of the upper cylindrical part of 028046 ? This is the slider extensions fitted 1962 onwards on G80CS and P11 machines. The workshop manual tells us overall length of the slider extension is 3-7/8". Yes, I could subtract myself if I had a genuine slider extension, which I don't have, unfortunately.
