Afternoon all,
My search for a 1947 G3L continues. However, I have been made aware of such an animal but the rigid rear has been converted to shock absorbers. A 1963 suspension conversion?
My question is, can it be put back to rigid? If so, big/ expensive job? Availability of parts?
I might go for it if it’s not too much of a problem returning it to specification.
Thanks all,
Steve

Re: Backward conversion
It is a big job but the hardest part would be finding the rigid rear frame etc. I'd keep looking for a good one. They do come up for sale now and then.

Hi Dave,
Agreed, been looking at what needs replacing and it’s becoming a bit of a list too far. I’ll keep looking.
Cheers,
Steve
