Frame modification

Hello all. I'm working on my second lightweight project. I already had a good M8 350 engine and I bought a rolling chassis to go with it. The rolling chassis had teledraulic forks and 18"wheels, so must be the 350 type? but alas, I bought unseen and it was a 250 frame with 350 parts on it. The frame is nicely powder coated so ideally I would like to use it, however I am aware that it is not tall enough for the 350 engine. Has anyone figured out how to fit the 350 engine in the 250 frame while still being able to maintain it, IE remove the cylinder head etc? Thanks for any suggestions
