Where is it ? It's far more interesting than you might think. I sold it in '72 in rural Nottinghamshire.
DVLA tell me it is hanging on a Peugeot, now.
She's probably young and called Valerie and hoping to be exciting.
VAL 23G was extremely exciting in 1972 ..

VAL 23G
A complete BSA Gold Star, cafe racer, the full monty... except it had a '54 G80S with SH cams, SR1 mag, alloy engine plates AMC box, an alloy alternator chaincase and electrics and a swept back exhaust and 4" reverse cone megaphone. 12 months after it was reregistered it got a G80CS 85 x 85 scrambles motor with silly cams a 12.5:1 piston and a GP2 carb. Don't forget a well sorted short stroke AMC single was only about 10 BHP behind a Manx Norton. A mate of mine on a Velo Thruxton agreed a speedo reading of 115 mph on a level road and I was still accelerating. What a tool. Anybody know what happened to it ?
