Burman B52 alloy Gear lever (1955)

Postby Jdraper » Mon Nov 18, 2019 8:36 pm

Whose bright idea was it to make an alloy gear lever for the Burman gearbox? They keep snapping at the clamp or dropping off because they have worked loose... Is there a suitable iron lever that will fit?

Frustrated by another snapped lever...

I lent an alloy one to a pal for his restoration until he could locate a s/h one (B52 'box). He lost it, so in the meantime he made a fine one by cutting 'n shutting and shaping a B52 steel k/start lever. Three months later he found my original down behind his tool cabinet
