So if didn't quite go as planned. The painters put epoxy primer on the frame number. It is still visible though.

Problem is going to be when the top coat goes on , the stamping will be difficult to see.

Do you think I can apply lacquer directly to the epoxy primer in the area of the frame number ?

1954 AJS 18S Cyprus export (frame decode says 1954 but many components match a 1955).
