Kickstart Rubber G-45-3

Post by spookefoote1956 »

Could someone verify that said rubber is the one for the Burman B52 kickstart and has a squared recess. I bought a bargain set of ten for £12 off fleabay and they don't look right to me, or fit. Funnily the seller hasn't responded to my message regarding this.

Cheers, Chris

The ones from the club do fit but they are rather flimsy. Fleabay ones usually don't fit and split the minute you try to fit them. The spares book for 1955 doesn't show a kickstart rubber and my Dad's bike, supplied new in 1955, was not fitted with one nor does the sales literature show it, perhaps other years did fit one?.
An AMC rubber will fit as will an Enfield kickstart rubber but both of these are open ended.
