You know Les at Russells pretty well. He has many ex factory service dep't tools.
If that fails you can always ask him to extract the Easyout with his teeth as on a bad day he has quite a bite.

Thanks Pete, I will have a look for a Rawlbolt if Les cannot help with a special tool for the job.
Hopefully he may be able to identify the cam too.
When Nev mentioned the Rawlbolt earlier I was visualising a toggle bolt.... no wonder I couldn't see how it could work

Yes, the Rawlbolt I had in mind would be one of these......
Perhaps wrap some coarse emery cloth around it to add friction and avoid needing too much expansion to grip the bush.............
Not quite the same thing but I found one very effective in replacing a cheap 'n nasty internal expander bracket for a 'bar end mirror that previously had Brewer's Droop every time I hit a bump.

another tip is the one used on triumph twin cam bushes, screw in a tap as if cutting a thread , heat up case extract bush and tap as one.

UPDATE:
Finally got round to the G3C cams,
On g80csp11 Peter's recommendation I bought one of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5pc-INNER-BE ... 2749.l2649
Bit of heat, the bushes came out VERY easily without dismantling the cases........ Cheap at twice the price!!!

Have just seen this thread. The cam shown is almost certainly a standard roadster, I have competition cams in my 18S and they look very different, less 'pointed' at the nose. The spindles will come out easily enough in a Chinese 10 ton press as found in many car servicing garages. I swapped spindles myself, and got protruding length right. However, I would advise turning a distance piece to ensure replacement spindle goes in the right amount. Andy

I am on the lookout for some new cams but since changing the bushes it is fine.
