Hi All
Thanks Pete for showing these :)

''Kickstart, may get someone out of trouble..... Hen's teeth I believe.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AJS-MODEL14- ... SwW0Vb5a4H ''

I have purchased one and they are short by about 1" to the original, also they will foul the silencer!

I intend to cut mine and weld in a section to make it the right length, then try and bend out slightly so it misses / does not foul the silencer.

I am lucky to know someone who has an original, so will try to make it look like this, obviously when I have finished I will have to get re-chromed

I would imagine that anything is possible if you are prepared to get it welded and re-chromed........ as long as the splines fit properly. I am lucky enough to have a village blacksmith where I live, he welded 2' extra length into the kickstart of my G15 to give a bit more leverage, once it was chromed only the most observant rivet counter would notice. He also lengthened a roadster prop stand for my G3C with no problems whatsoever.

Wouldn't dive in too fast. A little bird has it that the spares service may well be stocking kickstarts in the near future if discussions go well. .
