Replace. You need a new shaft and pump. Both parts are available.

The spares scheme is showing the oil pump (042104) and shaft (042173), though they are quite expensive.

Depends on the definition of expensive. Limited demand and small production run equates to high cost, but if you can't get those parts anywhere else and it's only those parts that keep you off the road, how much is too much?

Same goes with the clutch centres.

Hi Advance & retard units are quire difficult to find so you might want to consider an electronic ignition.

I have a BoyerBransden Micro MKIV ignition on my lightweight which has worked well. The kit is advertised as a Triumph/BSA single side points 12V Kit 00051.

I have found Boyers very easy to deal with. I suggest calling them and explain what you need. www.BOYERBRANSDEN.com

You will need to convert your bike from 6v to 12v but this is very easy and there is a good article somewhere in the archives.

Hope this helps

Hi, Re-assambled bottom end but crank came a bit hard to turn in some places. I stripped down but cannot figure out what's wrong any ideas ?

Can it be not centered ?

The only things I can think of are runout and endfloat. What runout did your crank builder achieve? It should be within 0.001”.
Endfloat is easier to check. Can you slide the crankshaft back & forth? From memory, you need at least 20 thou there (more is fine).
