Hi Jim

From the page where all of the forums are listed you should be able to click on the magnifying symbol at the top RH side, and then type in your search words. All entries containing those words should then be listed, and you can simply click on the subject line for any you want to read.

Tyre pressures can be found in the bikes instruction book.
However, these days we have cheap thin walled tyres available. It is when using these tyres, opinion's differ a little as to how much to increase pressures.. Weight, solo, with passenger etc. should also be considered. Judging by some peoples advice on increased tyre pressure's now needed, are due to tyres being nothing like heavy duty types of old. Also, as we have got older, put on more weight.

I now run higher pressure than 30 years ago. The tyre walls have become much more flexible even with the same make of tyre (and I might have put on a couple of stone!). Unless you are very light I would run a minimum of 30 at the front and 35 at the back.

I don't have a big breakfast, so make do with about 32 at the back.

You only get thin on top when you get older Clive.
