Re: Dynamo screws
Since my primary chain detached itself I have started to take the whole lot off,to repair the screw holes, but can`t find the correct size spanner/socket/box to go onto the recessed dynamo sprocket nut to get it undone , it`s countersunk and there is not a lot of free space around it, looks like i will have to turn down a socket to fit, (1/2 af is too small) however i don`t think it is the correct dynamo, does anyone have a suggestion as to what size the nut could be please ?

Re: Dynamo screws
Hi, my Lucas E3N Dynamo uses 2BA c/s screws to hold the bearing retainer plate, causing me some confusion until I realised a PO had fitted them - they looked neat and worked, so if your 5BA screwholes are knackered, going larger seems a reasonable thing to do. Andy
