Hi again , has anybody found a solution to g3ls inlet and exhaust valve guides being too loose, is it possible to purchase oversized replacements . I guess some of you must have come across this and found a cure , here's hoping !

I think Nortons have oversized valve guides available. They are not to difficult to make, i have done a few for my Norton Friends. Over sized oversize

T&L Engineering made a new oversize exhaust guide for me and machined the head to fit and fitted it; not to mention puttng in new seat to replace the turning stuffed up one. And stak of other work (like the collapsed head bolt pillars) and re-ling the barrel to standard etc.
It was a good job and now about 1,000 miles since and compression and performance improving as all bed in together.
