Where I live you would not want to ride you bike through Summer without some form of air filtration. I have hunted online for a decent filter for my Matchless but so far have found nothing. Anyone have any options???

Having a fine dust filter isn't so essential here as we don't get as much damage to our engines (or our cricket balls ) as you do, so I guess you are best placed to locate a suitably fine one. I believe the wartime WD G3's that were shipped to desert/dusty battlefields were fitted with a filter box on top of the petrol tank.

Yeah, nice one Nev.... so for all you dusty climate Matchless/Ajs single owners out there, I have just found out that AMC Spares stock a pankcake filter and adaptor to suit pre monobloc carbs.

Got creative and made a mount for the filter I mentioned earlier. Turned out pretty nice I think:
