AJS 18CS 1956 ON YOU TUBE
Hi all, just wanted to mention that last year one of the club members posted on this forum that he was shocked that he had over 600 views on you tube. Tonight as i write this he has had over 43,600 views which is excellent, surely we need more like this, even the most simple jobs could be put on you tube, the actual title on you tube is' AJS starting procedure heavyweight British single motorcycle' also the club would get a small amount of cash back after a certain amount of views, so its win win for the club.

Quite agree but "the club" is what the members do, anyone willing to follow up this idea?

Youtube has just changed its monetisation rules which now makes it a lot more difficult to earn cash from adding adds to a video.

It's been shared to other websites as well, so probably a lot more views than you state Shaun.
I was going to add a link but some of the ads on the pages are a little risqué

That's good! Nothing more annoying than ads .....Ozmadman wrote:Youtube has just changed its monetisation rules which now makes it a lot more difficult to earn cash from adding adds to a video.
1953 AJS 16MS, 1939 BSA 250 and a 1/3 scale Sopwith Triplane but that's another story .....

Re: AJS 18CS 1956 ON YOU TUBE
Hi
This has been suggested before...I've studied various You Tube 'How to' clips and ten minutes is about the maximum length, so I think , for example, a front fork strip down would work well. Maybe one clip on dismantling from the bike and then another for the strip down, another for rebuild. I'm planning to do mine in the nearish future so I might have a go at videoing it. .any movie experts got advice on the filming side??
Regards kk

Top tip - if it needs more than 2 bolts to hold it on, its probably important...
