Head defence

Post by hatrack »

Not one of those which helmet is best.
But how to prevent head injuries in the workshop, with the bike on the hydraulic bench and the handlebar ends and levers just at forhead level.
A pair of cheap (£2) boxing gloves off ebay.
Bright red so as to be noticable, the clutch or brake lever fits in the thumb and the handlebar end goes in the other part. And the big velcro tab holds them well in place.
Cautious tests have shown it is very effective.

After a few years, you are ok to spar with Tyson Fury.

It's crash bars that catch me out. They cannot be turned a little out the way.
