Great ride out today over to auto jumble at Ham Street , only a short ride of 55 miles through the early morning mist
half way there , down one of the back roads I was just thinking that the road surface was feeling odd , when the rear tyre deflated
Good news is that several motorists stopped to help , no that they could do much as the valve was damaged
phone call to Andy Davies for a tube and levers + pump before he set off for the auto jumble and I set about removing the rear wheel waiting for parts
Bob on the other hand was already tucking into his breakfast roll at Ham street
eventually they both arrive and I completed the repair before lunch near by
Lesson being , carry a tube , levers and pump at all time , as its much cheaper than lunch out on a Sunday and thanks to Bob and Andy for coming out

"be prepared"- now whose motto was that? Still in sunny Scotland and went over applecross on our little morini- in appalling weather!
