Smashing looking little bike, I'd be proud to own that. Good luck with getting it sorted!

Thanks everyone for the kind comments!

@garagejunkie: the headlight shell is a repro Lucas 7" from from feked.com. The one it came with was the same, but very rusty so I replaced it. The ammeter fits straight in and I added holes for the light and ignition switches. The headlight brackets are John Tickle aftermarket ones. Again, it came with those and it took me a while to work out which way up and where to fit them, but it seems to look OK with them in this position. Finally, seeing as I really don't like crummy 6V lighting, the bike runs 12V negative earth with a remarkable LED dip/main headlight bulb that I got from China. It is incredibly bright and barely draws any current. I will probably have to replace it with a 50/55W halogen for MOT purposes, but there you go...

I like it, have you got a picture of the exhaust side?

Sure!

Still a lot of detail to sort, but you get the idea.

The ugly patch on the fuel tank is where it's been repaired. I plan to get it repainted in the same style as a 7R :D
Rear shocks now cleaned up. The exhaust is next on the list so a new downpipe is already on order from Armour's...

PS: the Royal Enfield side stand works great (after a bit of basic fettling), so thanks for the tip. I can post details if anyone's interested.
