iam after a little help please ive got a ajs dd125e mk3 , the problem i have it wont start unless its bump started when cold and any idea where i can get a new rear brake light switch as mines keeping the brake light on

A few questions back to help.
When you say it wont start when cold, does the electric starter not work or is it turning over very sluggish? It may be the battery is flat needs replacing or just a good charge off the bike.
The CDI circuit that fires the plugs does not use the 12 Volt battery circuit as it gets it power from the magneto coils in the left hand cover.
I would contact the AJS shop for the brake switch as them seem as cheap if not cheaper then some on ebay, but any bike shop should have a very similar switch, you may just need to remake the connections.
Is it faulty as in its a permanent short, or is it badly adjusted so the spring is pulling it out?
