HI All
Just rebuilding a 52 Gearbox for a bike im building out of my spares.
Does the box have to be rebuilt in a certain gear ( like other bikes ) before i install the outer cover
Many Thanks

Re: B52 Gearbox Reassembly
No I don't think it matters what gear. I put it in neutral, but it's been a few year since I did one. I find the B52 an easy gearbox to work on. I've an AMC gearbox to do next.

Re: B52 Gearbox Reassembly
Rather like Dave, it's a long time since I did it and I did make a couple of drawings while I dis-assembled.
But if I got it back together and it worked, it can't be too hard. I seem to remember that the drive side bearing was odd, external imperial and internal (bore) metric (or the other way round).
They weren't available and I had to have one machined.
