It is not easy to find parts. Other people are also looking. Most parts will have to be made. The club will have some small standard parts that were still in use in the 50's. 500 cc parts will be hard to find. You must be sure you have got the correct information for the bike you have, year and model. Or you could spend years looking and find the wrong part. I tried to get 38 rocker box valve spring covers cast about 15 years ago. My bike never got its covers back I loaned as samples. I also loaned the bolts as samples, they were never made or my samples returned. Rocker boxes I have seen for sale are all broken.

I only have the engine , not the rest of the motorcycle .
I might consider selling the engine .

Engines survive best. They got taken off a bike and put under the bench, the rest of the bike left to rust or was dumped. I have picked up a few engines. Only for spares. You need much more than just an engine, to have any chance of making a bike. To find and buy all the parts would take many years if you are lucky. Also cost much more money than it will ever be worth.
