'55 G80CS solo saddle?

Post by Matchymarty »

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to fit a solo trials or G80S type saddle to my '55 Compy? Anyone know where to get a trials type saddle? I prefer the look of the Solo saddle.

Yes... like that. ;)
I'm assuming this is your bike... very nice! Jealous!
My father in law has a '49 G3LCS :)

Now that I've ridden my new CS a coule of times... I'm liking the dual seat for comfort... but just love the look and lower position of the saddle... I'll have a look to see if I could swap my G80S saddle for the Dual...

Funny isn't it... how MX bikes today have similar seat/tank line that the old '55 has.... after going to the big deep saddle/tank profile of the 80's... ahahaha  The Britts were on to it....

I also love the single seat but its far from comfortable riding it. If you are planning on riding it allot I would advice you to keep the dual seat. Your buttocks will be gratefull to you. But(t) I also like the "nakedness" of the bike and a single seat just makes it perfect. #bikeporn
