Matchless Knee Knocker Tank Badges
I am having great difficulty in obtaining a pair of the large `knee knocker` petrol tank badges for my 1962 G12 CSR. They are not available from the spare scheme and I would be very grateful for any assistance with this matter.

I think you have asked about this before and I suggested the spares scheme. My only other suggestion is that if you can persuade someone to lend you a pair it should be possible to make an epoxy resin image from them and use these as a mould to cast replicas. I know it sounds daft but when I was working we make steering wheels. The original model was made in wood and covered with real leather then invested to make a master mould. The resins can have additives included that would enable subsequent chrome plating. I know its all a lot more than you may want to do but it maybe the only way.
