G12 Spark Plugs

let's see if I can reply before Eric or Les do.the information you have about the difference between EV's & ES's is correct.it's because a lower voltage is needed to spark across the EV's electrodes. It shouldn't affect your tickover speed to any degree, but should start a little easier and be more resistant to fouling.High speed spark performance is improved too.If you have an idling problem that's likely to be elsewhere, but it does sound like you're expecting the engine to idle too soon.set the idle up with a warm(not hot) engine.some people used to fix a little clamp to the throttle stop screw to allow about 90 degrees of clockwise rotation, then all you do is tweak that round for a cold start and hey presto! instant fast idle.you just reverse the tweak once it's sufficiently warmed.By the by,B8's are a little on the cold side for road use, you'll get some similar benefits to above switching to B7's or even B6's.the harder you ride it the higher the number you need with NGK's.
