According to my Matchless spares book (page 70)
it says you shoulld use a 340 jet.

G12 Air Filter
Hi John, I would try the air filter without altering the main jet and do a plug chop. The workshop manual does say 340 main with air filter (if you are running 7.5:1 compression) as Mike says. At the end of the day these figures are only a guide . Assuming the filter is a modern one ,they are generally manufactured with a much less restrictive material than the original types .
