I have found that useful You Tube videos I have seen disappear after a couple of years. Guess it's inevitable considering the volume they handle. As far as I know a safe very long term public receptacle has not yet been invented.
Early days of the internet was like heaven to me, any engineering calculation was available, codes and standards, ideas and drawings. Very little of it left now.

If its difficult for the club to set up and manage, Id be happy to recive videos from memebers of the club to put on my youtube channel and corralate them into playlists so its super easy to find relevent videos. I could plug the club also and try and reach some younger gen motorcycle enthusiats? It would be great to demonstrate by videos.
Would need to be a few groundrules as youtube has very strict algorithms. So no background music etc. No filming of children. Ie when youre out at an event etc.
No bad launguage as youtube algorithm can now detect that.
You get the idea.
Happy to go ahead if all ok?

All we need is some videos , anything to help push the club to a wider audience is a good idea

Any budding scribes fancy articulating this into a short article for the Jampot? Lots of people (sections) will see that but only a fraction are on this forum. The offer to host the videos is great I think, and as you say, the club is always looking for ways to connect with Da Yoof!

James, that's a very kind offer but I have one concern...

What happens when you get fed up with your Youtube channel and you close it down - all the videos accumulated will disappear!

Is it possible that you could set up a separate channel, that is linked to the club, such that you can administer it, but should you win millions on the lottery and clear off to some sunny location it would be possible for someone else to take over?

The e-Group at https://ajsmatchless.groups.io/g/main appear to have ample space. Maybe the danish AJS/M archive could store videos as well?
