Cam Gear puller tool for '61 GSR

Post by dgurovich »

Is there a specific cam gear puller tool that I can order for my G12 CSR ('61), or do I just go down to the local Auto Parts store and get a bridge puller? Reason I'm asking is it seems that the bolt holes look to be 1/4 BSF that the puller would fit into. If there is a particular tool, that is available, I just as soon have the exact, right one to do the job.

Very simple to make. A bit of thick steel threaded for a bolt in the middle. 2 clearance holes and 2 5/16" BSF bolts. The BSF bolts screw into the gear and the centre bolt pulls it off.
