Hi all,
I have been been offered a pair of NOS lifting handles of the 1963 type for one of my restoration projects. Please note these are handles for the home model (STD) ribbed mudguard.
Can someone please comment if they are of the correct type. I have never seen one pictured or had a chance to examine a bike of the later model years.
I just discovered this thread:

Handles do look similar to those pictured by John Jarrett, but please comment.
Regards,
Knut

Hi Knut
The handles in the photo are the same as those fitted to my ‘63 G3 and ‘65 M18, both have the ribbed rear mudguard.

If someone has a sample of spacer 029446 going inboard of the handles, I am in need of a dimensioned sketch of the genuine part.
Will post a proper drawing here once dimensions have been made available to me.
Please contact me off list if you have one or two samples surplus to requirements.
