Re: Tyre pressures
Hi Ian, Avon state https://www.avontyres.com/en-gb/tyre-ca ... cle-tyres/
What pressures should I use on my classic bike?
Due to the modern materials used in the construction of these tyres, we normally recommend 25-28 psi front and 28-34 psi rear.

Re: Tyre pressures
I have Roadriders and using 26 front and 30 rear but a relative lightweight at 12 & 1/4 stone. Found by trial and error - avoid the error!
Clive posted a good test which involved checking the actual contact patch at different pressures but I can't remember the details. This removes the variables of different weights, equipment and luggage for different machines / people.
