Morning all. I am trying to remove the clutch centre boss from the output shaft of my G12. The primary chain, clutch plates and basket have been removed, and also the shock absorber cover plate. The workshop manual sugests that the boss should slide off the output shaft spline, but it will only move about 1/2" before it jams solid on the spine. Am I missing anything? Has anyone come across a similar problem?
Cheers.

The club sell a puller which will pull it straight off.

Many thanks Dave. I've just viewed the tool on the shop site. Looks to be just the job.
