Hi gents,
I have to fit an oïl filter (Commando type) on my G12.
What is the best place for it, for a not too messy looking ?
Cheers.

Thank you Dave and Mike. On what braket is it fitted ? I have now to find 2 barbed reducers 1/2 x 3/8, I think one must be elbow to join the return pipe in the oïl tank.
Cheers.

I had a friend make up my reducers and curved one of the pipes which was supported by a spring to stop it collapsing.

You say I have have to fit an oil filter. why or do you mean you want to fit one? I would not bother as they are all a pain to replace them. We had to disconnect one on the way back from Poland due to leaks this was fitted behind the tank under the seat.JEAN-NOEL wrote:Hi gents,

Hi Jean-Noel, Hope this helps. Got some pics of the remote filter install on my G3. It's the kit from Paul Goff and I used the perforated strip that came with kit, fixed using the old horn mount which I moved to the other side. Just had to find hose adaptors the right size and luckily the local motor factor had some hose to fit the oil pump nipple too. Quite pleased with the kit and fitment.
Regards, Steve
