Hi Dave

Yes that's exactly my set up - I've since done a bit more reading and see that the twin tanks were different from those fitted to the singles and that they appear to have changed around 1960.

So much to learn.

The extended fitting on the rear of the '60 onwards tanks is for singles, the twins have a clamp that goes around the top tube with rubber that goes between the clamp and top tube.

In 61 CSR twins changed to a rubber strap at the back with wire hooks welded to the tank. I think the strap was a large O ring that went under the top tube.
