THRUST WASHERS

Post by JEAN-NOEL »

I did not think trigger such controversy when I have submit my previous topic !
But at least I have an answer on two points:
1° ROVER V8 thrust washers do not suit our engines.
2° in a few weeks the Part Service may propose standard thrust washers.
Remains my idea to re babbit old thrust washers to suit used crankshafts, when standard size don't match.
T & L, for instance may be able to do this job, as they refurbish old bearings with white metal.
Cheers
